From a young age, my passion was to understand autoimmune health. Growing up with a grandmother who suffered firsthand from the effects of Lupus, I was determined to find a way to live in optimal health. I had a life to live, and it was not going to be that way! I became a master in epigenetics.
My journey towards becoming an expert in gut health began over two decades ago. It all began with cystic acne and melasma. My digestive system was in chaos! I was diagnosed with IBS. However, they only treated my symptoms without identifying the underlying cause. After enduring countless years of excruciating pain and constant fatigue, then came the diagnoses of Lyme disease, fibromyalgia, and chronic fatigue syndrome.
I was sick.
I was tired.
And my fear about worsening my autoimmunity was very real!
I realized it was all connected. This led me down a beautiful path of gut repair and nervous system healing that connected me to true root cause resolution.
The truth is that the medical system does not have enough time to support you through the functional healing process that you deserve in order to live a life free from concerns about your gut health. It takes many years of research to obtain all the answers you need to do it on your own!
